| Purpose of the discussion forum The Fishing Headquarters discussion forum was established in 2007 for the purpose to freely exchange relevant information relating to the sport of fishing through postings such as questions, informational posts, fishing tips and tricks, field reports and images. Our forum membership strives to have fun friendly fishing discussion for the pursuit of all species of fish, to learn about fishing in order to make ourselves better anglers, and to make new friends and fishing buddies alike. The discussion forums are meant for friendly and fun discussions only. NOT for flaming, aggravating, and mouthing off at any members or anyone in particular. We do not promote negativity nor disrespect in our forums. While the website and discussion forum is generally lenient on enforcing rules and regulations, there are a few things that will not be tolerated - Listed below. The actions, behaviour and topics the Fishing Headquarters website and discussion forum does not allow to be posted are the following: - Pornography and Nudity - Blatant Advertising - Spamming - Cruel or Racist comments & remarks - Public Defamation and Libelous statements - Religious or Political Jokes - Violence - Egotistical remarks, statements, and beliefs - WE DO NOT LIKE EGOS Your Responsibilities as a Member, and Possible Consequences It is understood that this website holds "BS" discussions within its discussion forum and chat room. Please understand that these discussions are to be done with maturity and not immaturity (Act your age folks!). Please be responsible with your use of words and actions so that discussion forum members and visitors do not feel violated or get offended. Resulting from the lack of consideration and agreement to our rules, offenders of improper website and forum etiquette will receive fair warnings of their poor and irresponsible actions. If continuously repeated and violated, forum staff and administration holds the right to terminate your account and username on a permanent basis. In addition, your user IP address will be banned from the database as well - you will be barred from entrance to the Fishing Headquarters. There are absolutely zero excuses to this protocol! These rules established by the Fishing Headquarters are to be enforced in order to keep a friendly and peaceful environment at the website and discussion forums. While our goal is to provide fishermen a positive atmosphere that enables them to become better anglers, your responsibility as an angler and forum member is to follow the rules and to have fun at the same time.
