   Freshwater Fish Identification

Fish can be easy to identify if you know what characteristics to look for. Just like any plant or animal, anglers need to understand what features some fish have in common, and what the differences are. Some fish are more familiar than others, especially popular game fish.

As a multi-species angling website, we have finally collaborated with anglers and illustrators to create a fish identification database that will enable anglers to differentiate the characteristics of freshwater fishes. In addition, this will allow anglers to properly identify caught fish species that remain in question.
